This auspicious celebration in Hinduism commemorates the momentous occasion when Lord Krishna imparted profound wisdom to Arjuna amidst the battleground of Kurukshetra.

The Srimad Bhagavad Gita holds a revered place as a sacred scripture among Hindus, serving as a philosophical guide and spiritual mentor. It bestows invaluable teachings on leading a righteous life, emphasizing the significance of karma (action) and detachment from the outcomes of one's actions.

The International Gita Mahotsav 2023 commenced on December 7, 2023, at Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra and is set to culminate on December 24, 2023.

Significance of Gita Jayanti: During the epic Mahabharata war, Lord Krishna became Arjuna's charioteer.
