Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, Congress has found a new way to raise funds for the first-ever assembly elections. Whoever wants a Congress ticket to the Assembly will have to deposit 11,000 rupees in the party fund along with his application. This amount has been named as the amount of cooperation by the party. UP Congress unit president Ajay Kumar Lallu has also implemented the new circular issued with immediate effect. December 25 is the last date for the submission of applications.

Lallu said this is the first time that a fee of 11,000 rupees is being charged from those interested in assembly elections. In fact, the reason behind this is being attributed to the application of a lot of candidates from each Assembly. Doing so will not make it difficult for the party to select limited and qualified candidates. At the same time, the funds that will come from it will be used in party interest and election management.

State President Ajay Lallu has asked the candidates to fill up the application form and submit it in the prescribed format. All applicants will submit their applications to the authorized people at the district and city levels. 11,000/- by 25th December 2021 through RTGS, demand draft, or pay order.
