Tokyo: The 2024 LC 500h from Japanese luxury automaker Lexus has been made available in India for the ex-showroom price of Rs. 2.39 crore. The coupe comes in a single fully equipped variant and is available with a choice of three interior trims and nine eye-catching paint colours. For maximum performance, the coupe is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine and the manufacturer's hybrid electric drive system.

The Lexus LC, a grand touring vehicle debuted at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, is based on the LF-LC Concept from 2012. The coupe and convertible body types were the car's first two iterations.

The four-wheeler has an effective petrol-hybrid powertrain (codenamed 8GR-FXS) to demonstrate the brand's dedication to green mobility solutions.

The 2024 Lexus LC 500h has a striking appearance and adheres to the brand's contemporary design philosophy. It has a huge grille covered in chrome, sleek LED headlights with DRLs, a sculpted bonnet, a raked windscreen, ORVMs mounted on the doors, frameless windows, a sloping roofline, flared wheel arches, and designer 21-inch forged aluminium wheels. At the rear, wraparound LED taillamps with 3D elements are an option.

A 3.5-liter V6 engine coupled to an electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack will power the Lexus LC 500h in 2024. The system produces 650Nm of maximum torque and 354hp of maximum power. It connects to the multi-stage hybrid gearbox from the manufacturer.

The interior of the 2024 Lexus LC 500h features a sporty 2+2 seating arrangement for four people based on the Tazuna design principle. A head-up display, ambient lighting, a multifunctional steering wheel, a 12.3-inch infotainment panel with connectivity options, premium leather upholstery, racing-style bucket seats, multi-zone climate control, and these features are all included in the minimal dashboard. It has ADAS features and eight airbags for the safety of the passengers.
