Earlier, Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat had tweeted about the incident and said that he is in constant touch with the district administration. He said, "The glacier at Sumana in The Niti Valley has been reported to have collapsed. I have issued an alert in this regard, I am in constant touch with the district administration".
