New Delhi: Amidst the war against the coronavirus, the drug of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals will now be used for the treatment of corona patients. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has also received approval from the government. Patients with mild symptoms of corona can now be given medicine from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals.

While giving information, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has stated that the company has launched the antiviral drug Favipiravir under the brand name Fabiflu for the treatment of patients suffering from Coronavirus. Glenmark has been approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) on June 19 to manufacture and market fevipiravir or febiflu. Let us know that the company's approval for this drug has come at a time when the infection of corona virus in India has caught pace. Corona virus cases are increasing in India faster than before. The number of corona patients in India has reached almost four lakhs. At the same time, the company said that this medicine will be found on the advice of a doctor.

The company has hoped that this drug will help reduce the current pressure on treatment of patients with corona virus to a great extent. The company says that this medicine has given good results to patients suffering from mild infection of corona virus.
