International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Kristina Georgieva has called the coronavirus a serious challenge to the global economy and people's health. With this, Georgieva said this on Wednesday. At the same time, he said that global growth may be affected due to this crisis. Along with this, he said, "Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the growth rate in the current year can go down from 2.9 percent of the previous year."
