Due to Corona, many works in the country have been interrupted. Meanwhile, the film festivals is starting again in the world. Preparations are also being started for the International Film Festival of the country. Due to the COVID-19 virus, where most of the film festivals and public events in the country have been postponed. The International Film Festival to be organized in Goa can be virtual.

When the industry minister Prakash Javadekar was asked about the Goa Film Festival, he said in his statement, 'If the outbreak of the epidemic has reduced, then the event will be organized in Goa, otherwise it can be virtual. Just like a Cannes film program has happened. We have received more than 400 foreign film entries for the International Film Festival.'

The International Film Program will be held in November as per its scheduled ceremony. The IFFI will be organized from 20 November to 28 November. During the completion of this festival, all the guidelines issued by the Information and Communications Department will be followed. This time it is going to be the 51st Film Festival Organization. Talking about other festivals this year, it has either been postponed. Cannes Film Festival was also not organized. Earlier, the film festival was to be held between 12 May to 23 May, but on 20 March it was told by the Cannes Film Festival that it would not be scheduled at the scheduled time. Apart from this, dates of many events like Golden Globe Oscars have been put forward. The same is yet to be confirmed.
