Panaji: Drugs are being transported from Delhi to colour several night parties in Goa. This was disclosed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after detaining a woman of foreign origin. The woman, of foreign origin, has been arrested from Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has recovered about 810 grams of cocaine from the possession of the woman. which is worth crores of rupees in the international market. According to a top Narcotics Control Bureau official, the secret information was received on July 2 that a consignment of drugs from Delhi is scheduled to leave for Goa. A foreign woman, Hazrat Nizamuddin, is scheduled to leave the railway station on this consignment of drugs.

He said, based on intelligence inputs, an NCB team cordoned off Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and launched an investigation into all trains going to Goa. During the investigation, a foreign woman was arrested by a train going to Goa. He said, during the search, about 810 grams of cocaine was recovered from the custody of this foreign woman of Uganda origin. During the interrogation, the woman said that the drug was given to her by a Nigerian-born man in Delhi.
