Gold prices continue to fall. If you look at the price of the last one week, the price of gold has gone down every day. However, this decline is not so special. Both 24 carat and 22 carat prices are softening by Rs 10 on Friday as compared to Thursday.
The softening on Thursday was seen at Rs 190. Gold prices have softened more than 8000 against the highest level of 56,000 plus in August last year. However, these prices are still higher than in February last year. Gold prices are likely to soften by 2600 per kg, the highest in the past several days.
As far as cities are concerned, Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur and Chandigarh have seen similarities in gold prices on Friday and are showing lower prices than Patna, Nagpur and Kolkata. In South India, prices of 22 carat gold in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kerala, Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar are less than 45,000 grams per 10 grams.
