If you are thinking of buying gold, there is good news for you. Now it is cheaper to buy gold. Gold fell 810 rupees, to 46,896 rupees per 10 grams in the national capital. According to HDFC Securities, it has seen the impact of overnight reduction in prices of precious metals in the international market. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 47,706 per 10 grams. Silver fell 1,548 rupees, to 62,720 rupees per kilo. 64,268 per kg in the previous trade.

Tapan Patel, Senior Researcher (Commodity) at HDFC Securities, said that even after the spot gold price fell by Rs 810 for 24 carat gold in Delhi, the comax gold price has shown an overnight decline. In the international market, both gold and silver were trading at $1,806 an ounce and $24.05 an ounce respectively.

Gold prices are priced at Rs 47,884 per 10 grams in Mumbai, which is the economic capital of the country. Silver is priced at Rs 64,532 per kg in the Maharashtra capital. On the other hand, silver prices are available at Rs 64,700 per kg in Kolkata. Gold can be purchased in the West Bengal capital for Rs 48,700.
