Gold and silver prices continued to slow down today, though gold futures started with good gains, the second consecutive day in silver when the decline is being observed.

MCX Gold:
Gold on Thursday traded very volatile in August futures. Gold futures also reached Rs 482.90 per 10 grams in intra-day, but could not last long. Finally, it closed at Rs. 47910. Gold futures opened slightly higher today, but now it seems to be sluggish. Gold futures have become costlier by around Rs 350 this week.

Gold cheaper by about Rs 8500 from the highest level:-
Last year, due to the corona threat, people invested a lot in gold, with the price of 10 grams of gold at MCX at a high of Rs 56,191 in August 2020. Today gold is at Rs 47,700 per 10 grams on August futures MCX, meaning it is still getting around Rs 8500 cheaper.

MCX Silver:
Silver fell sharply again on Thursday, with silver September futures closing 400 rupees weaker. Today, it is again witnessing a reduction of Rs. 300. That means silver-futures have become cheaper by Rs 700 per kg in two days.

Silver's highest ever level is Rs 79,980 per kg. According to this silver is also around Rs 11,300 cheaper than its highest level. Today, silver futures are at Rs 686.80 per kg.
