New Delhi: According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell by Rs 460 to Rs 48,371 per 10 grams in the country's capital Delhi on Monday amid weak global trends. In the last trading day, gold had closed at Rs 48,831 per 10 grams. Similarly, on Monday, the market price of silver has also dropped from Rs 629 to Rs 62,469 per kg.
Whereas, silver had closed at Rs 63,098 per kg in the last trading session. Giving information, Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities has said that 24-carat gold prices have fallen by Rs 460 in Delhi, which is the result of the fall in international prices of gold and the strengthening of the rupee.
Also, in opening trade on Monday, the rupee opened 5 paise to 73.59 against the US dollar. In the international market, gold fell to $ 1,830 an ounce, while silver was seen trading at $ 23.82 an ounce.
