New Delhi: Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) are trading flat on Thursday. Gold contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell 0.07 percent to close at 9.05 pm on July 15 at Rs 48,266 at 10 grams. However, another precious metal silver has accelerated the domestic market on Thursday. Silver futures for September rose 0.08 rupees, to 69,468 rupees per kilogram.

Gold prices remained steady in the global market on Thursday. According to Reuters, spot gold was steady at $1,824.81 an ounce by 0050 GMT. U.S. gold futures rose 0.1 percent to $1,826.40 an ounce. U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the central bank will continue its liberal monetary policy even after the recent spike in inflation readings.

Coming to the domestic market, gold rose marginally by Rs 10 per 10 grams today. According to the rates provided by the Good Returns website, the price of 22 carats per 10 grams of gold is Rs 47,090 and that of 24 carats 10 grams of gold is Rs 48,090. In the national capital, gold is priced at Rs 47,060 per 10 grams and 24-carat gold at Rs 51,260, while in Mumbai today, 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,090 per 10 grams and 24-carat gold at Rs 48,090 per 10 grams.
