New Delhi: Gold prices have fluctuated in the country today amid stability in gold prices in the global market. Silver prices have also declined. The upcoming meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve on monetary policy may see an impact on gold prices in the coming days.
Gold was trading marginally up 20 rupees, to 48,543 rupees per ten grams at the Multi Commodity Exchange today. 48,523 per ten grams yesterday. Silver fell 521 rupees, to 521 rupees per cent. Today, the price has been recorded at Rs 71,358 per kg. 71,879 per kg yesterday. Gold has also fallen 0.05 percent to $1,866.15 an ounce in the global market.
This is its lowest price since May 17. At that time, the price had reached $1,843.99 an ounce. India also saw its impact on the price of gold present. The price of spot gold fell 0.02 per cent to Rs 48,750 per ten grams here today. 487.60 per ten grams in the market yesterday.
