Today's Rate: Gold shines down, silver picks up pace

Mumbai: Gold prices are skyrocketing all over the world due to the global epidemic coronavirus. However, gold prices in India have fallen from Rs 49,150 per 10 grams to Rs 48,900 (24 carat) on Saturday. Silver is being sold from Rs 52,800 to Rs 53,810 per kg.

According to Good Returns, the price of 22-carat gold in New Delhi is Rs 47,710 per 10 grams, while in Chennai it costs Rs 46,860 per 10 grams. The price of 10 grams of gold in Mumbai is Rs 47,460. Talking about 24-carat gold, its price in Chennai is Rs 51,150 per 10 grams. Similarly, the price of 24-carat gold in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 48910 and Rs 48460 per 10 grams respectively. According to Good Returns, 22-carat gold in Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, and Patna is being sold at the rate of Rs 48230, Rs 46230, Rs 47710 and Rs 47460 per 10 grams respectively.

The prices of 24-carat gold in the said cities are Rs 49810, Rs 50430, Rs 48910, and Rs 49130 per 10 grams respectively. On the other hand, August gold futures on MCX rose by 0.40% to Rs 48,967 per 10 grams. Silver September futures is trading at Rs 52,899 per kg.
