New Delhi: Good news is coming again today for those who want to buy gold. The Indian bullion market witnessed a fall in gold as well as silver on Thursday (26 August) on the fourth day of the trading week. According to a website by the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold is currently trading at Rs 47,555, cheaper by Rs 155 per 10 grams. Gold had closed at Rs 47,710 per ten grams on Wednesday.

The price of gold, as well as silver, has fallen today. Silver is selling at Rs 63,414 at a cheaper price of Rs 36 per kg. Earlier, silver had closed at 63,450 per kg on Wednesday, the previous trading day. Gold is falling on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold fell 145 rupees, to 47,467 rupees per 10 grams. Silver lost 273 rupees, to 63,201 rupees per kilo.

Thus gold is selling cheaper than its all-time high by about Rs 8645 per 10 grams. Let us tell you that gold made its all-time high in August 2020. At that time gold had reached the price of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. At the same time, the highest level of silver is Rs 79,980 per kg. Accordingly, silver is also selling cheaper by about Rs 17,000 from its highest level.
