New Delhi: Gold fell sharply in September. Now, with the increase in demand for physical gold in China and India, the price has started picking up further. Just half a month has passed since October and gold has become more than Rs 700 expensive. Silver rose 3600 rupees, to 63,000 rupees per kilo. Dhanteras festival is going to come up in the country in the next 18 days. Buying gold and silver is of special importance on this day.

Gold fell more than 650 rupees per ten grams on the last trading day on Friday, but the price has crossed 47,000 rupees last month. According to multi-commodity index data, gold was at Rs 47,123 per ten grams on October 15. Gold was trading at 46,000 rupees per ten grams last month.

On the other hand, the price of silver has also seen an overall increase in the month of October. According to the Multi Commodity Index on Friday, silver had fallen by more than 300 rupees, to 63,271 rupees. Silver prices had gone below 60,000 rupees per ten grams last month. It is expected that it will see a further increase in the coming days.
