Patna: New prices of gold and silver have been released in Bihar. Gold prices in Bihar have come down by Rs 150. In the capital Patna, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is priced at 45,680 today, compared to Rs 45,830 yesterday. In addition today the price of 10 grams 24-carat gold is 49,910. While yesterday it was priced at 49,060. In addition, the price of 10 grams of silver in the state is ₹650. Normally on 24-carat gold is considered to be the purest but jewelry cannot be made from this gold so most of the 22-carat gold is used in making jewelry.

Which-carat gold is so pure:-
24-carat gold - 99.9 percent.
23-carat gold - 95.8 percent.
22-carat gold - 91.6 percent.
21-carat gold - 87.5 percent.
18-carat gold - 75.0 percent.
17-carat gold - 70.8 percent.
14-carat gold - 58.5 percent.
09-carat gold - 37.5 percent.

Gold and silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) registered a marginal rise on September 8, 2021. With a jump of 0.18 percent or Rs 83, the rate of gold futures maturing on October 5, 2021, is steady. 46,961 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver futures, which mature on December 3, 2021, are selling at Rs 64,621 per kg, jumping 0.04 percent or Rs 27. Gold had lost 0.07 percent, or Rs 33, to close at Rs 47,402 per 10 grams yesterday.
