New Delhi. Due to rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country for the past one month, the common people have to face a lot of problems. The prices of petrol and diesel are increasing daily. On Tuesday, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 82.86 per liter and diesel Rs 74.12 per liter. At the same time, talking about the financial capital Mumbai, the petrol price at Rs 90.22 per liter, while the price of diesel was Rs 78.69 per liter. Among the rising prices of petrol and diesel, there has been heartening news for the people of the country.

Some states of India have decided to decrease the price of petrol and diesel. Half a dozen states of northern India including Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh have agreed to make a similar rate of petrol and diesel here. All the 6 states will reduce VAT rates in their respective states so that the prices of petrol and diesel can be reduced. In Haryana, the meeting of the Finance Minister and the officials of these states was held in which the consent of the six states to equality in the tax related to the registration of the transport permit and the registration of trains was agreed.

On these issues, all the states have formed a committee and will present their report for the next two weeks. Based on this report, taxes related to petrol and diesel prices as well as excise policy, transport permit and registration of vehicles will be uniform. This will not permit to steal tax in any state and people will receive all the benefits equally.
