Pushkar and Gayatri, the director of the Tamil movie 'Vikram Vedha' released in 2017, have been engaged in efforts to make it in Hindi. All the preparations to make this film in Hindi were completed by bringing Madhavan, who became a police officer in the original film, to Madhavan in its Hindi version. But gave it to the company that made it, Y Not Studios. Plan C Studios is a company formed in partnership with Friday Picture Works and Reliance Entertainment, a company of Neeraj Pandey and Sheetal Talwar.

After coming to the scene of Plan C Studios, the first project with Madhavan and Shahrukh closed. This was followed by Aamir Khan in the picture.
