If you are planning to visit Andaman and Nicobar, there is good news for you. The Union Territory has exempted all those who come here from conducting RT-PCR negative test reports who have taken both doses of the corona vaccine. An official said on Friday that the health department of the Union Territory administration has decided to fix the new standard operating procedures from September 25.

According to the same new SOP, people who have taken both doses of anti-corona vaccines and have been in the second dose for more than 15 days will not need to bring an RT-PCR report confirming that they are not positive with corona infection to come to Port Blair. The RT-PCR test will also not be conducted at Port Blair airport. These people will have to submit the identity card entered in the vaccination certificate with them.

The SOP also said that if a passenger notices symptoms of the virus when he reaches Port Blair, he will be tested RT-PCR at the airport terminal even after the vaccine is detected. It said that other passengers who have not been vaccinated or have not received another vaccine for 15 days will have to report RT-PCR confirming that they are not positive. He will also have an RT-PCR test as soon as he arrives at Port Blair. The officer said that it is important that all passengers follow the corona guidelines even after getting vaccinated.
