Apple has started production of its iPhone SE 2020 in the country. The company will make it at its Vistron plant in Karnataka. Because of this, now Apple will not have to pay 20 percent import duty. Due to import of smartphones from the global market, companies making mobile phones have to pay import duty in the country. In addition to the iPhone SE (2020), Cupertino is producing five iPhone models in the country, including the iPhone 11 introduced last year.

Also, the production of iPhone SE (2020) has started in the country, but no information has been given about when the company will start selling these units. However, considering the past trends of the company, it is anticipated that the units of the iPhone SE (2020) made in the country will start selling in the coming weeks.

Due to the production of the same iPhone SE (2020) in the country, now Apple will not have to pay 20 percent import duty on it, due to which the company can reduce its prices. That is, in the coming time, this iPhone may be cheaper than before. Also, the iPhone SE (2020) is the sixth series of iPhone made in the country. Apart from this, the company is doing local production of iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone XR. Apart from this, the company started production of its iPhone 11 in the country in July this year. Right now, nothing has been decided on its sale.
