Good news for Indian economy, PMI figures best in 7 months

New Delhi: The Indian economy is showing improvement as demand increases and corona epidemic conditions improves. In fact, manufacturing activities in India have picked up pace in October.  Because companies have also increased production in line with substantial increases in new jobs. According to a private survey, India's manufacturing activity has grown at the fastest pace in 7 months. Factory production has increased at a rapid pace, which was the strongest since March.

Monthly IHS The Market India Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) saw a steady fourth-month expansion in October, indicating the strongest improvement in operating conditions since February. This is the fourth consecutive month since February when these figures have registered a spurt. According to a November 1 survey by PMI, the country's manufacturing PMI has been at 55.9 in October. It was 53.7 in September and 52.3 in August.

Looking at the PMI standard, above 50 means that the economy is expanding. While the figure below 50 indicates a decline in the economy. The improving sentiment of the manufacturing sector market in October has shown the benefit of new orders due to rising demand from consumers. Factory output last month also saw the fastest growth since March.
