The satellite premiere of legendary entertainment superstar Rajinikanth's 'Anantthe' will be held on Sun TV on the occasion of Pongal on January 14. The movie was directed by Shiva, which hit the theatres on the occasion of Deepawali in November last year and emerged as the highest grossing film ever in its home state of Tamil Nadu with a collection of Rs 24 crore at that time.
In all, the movie earned ₹30 crores all over India on the first day and the ticketing site BookMyShow had reported that this movie has crossed 1 million tickets on our platform, the second has become the first film to do so after the Corona wave. The film which has several delays due to corona infection also stars Khushboo, Meena, Nayanthara, Kirti Suresh, Jagpati Babu, Prakash Raj and Suri.
To determine the same, large-scale market films have been managing effective satellite premieres in recent times as people are working and studying from home. According to trade website Box Office India, in May last year, Varun Dhawan-starrer Coolie No.1, after its release on Amazon Prime Video, had achieved more than one crore impressions on Zee Cinema alike through audience and critics. Impression refers to the number of individuals in the thousands of target viewers who saw an average event in minutes.
