The important festival of South India, Pongal is around the corner and this year fans of Tamil cinema will have a memeorable season as the two big films lined up for release – Petta and Viswasam. The main thing is that both the big films will release on the same day. Viswasam will be released globally . Now, as per the latest reports, Petta too will have a similar release. It will be released in Kannada as well and it will be a dubbed version much to the joy of fans.

The release of Rajinikanth starrer Peta in Kannada version is a reason to rejoice for the superstar fans. In this film Rajinikanth will be seen in a stylish role again will be another element why fans in Karnataka will be quite kicked about the film's release. The teaser and posters  are already out it  reveal that Rajinikanth will be seen sporting two different looks, a stylish one as well as a traditional massy .

Petta is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and is the young filmmaker’s first association with superstar Rajinikanth. Besides Rajinikanth, Petta also stars Simran, Trisha Krishnan, Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
