Moradabad: The Uttar Pradesh government is going to provide sugar, chana, oil and salt along with rations to Antyodaya card holders in July. For this, the foodgrains have reached the godown. The Government has not yet announced the date of distribution of ration. The state government has been giving free wheat, rice as well as one kg of chana, oil and salt in a month to all ration card holders for more than a year.

Similarly, 5.5 lakh families in the Moradabad district are getting the benefit of this. The State Government is going to give 3 kg of sugar to Antyodaya card holders living below the poverty line in the month of July. In Moradabad, 30,000 Antyodaya cardholders will be benefited. The ration distribution system has been messed up after March. The ration for the month of May is being distributed now. The distribution of rations for June has not started. The State Government has formulated a new action plan to distribute rations at the right time.

Under which chana, oil and salt have been demanded in advance in the godown. The sugar is to be distributed in July, so the sugar has also reached the godown. The foodgrains to be distributed in July are yet to be distributed to ration shopkeepers. It is being said that after 1st Of July, the supply of foodgrains will be made to the ration shops. It is proposed to distribute ration from July 5. District Supply Officer Ajay Pratap Singh said that along with the July foodgrains, Antyodaya cardholders will be given sugar along with ration.
