India's largest government bank State Bank of India (SBI) has given good news to its customers. SBI has announced abolishing the charge on fund transfer from mobile. SBI has said that account holders can now easily transact without any additional charges using the USSD service. USSD or unstructured supplementary service data is used to periodically check talk time balances or account details and transact through mobile banking.

This decision of SBI will benefit lakhs of customers using mobile banking. State Bank of India has more than 450 million customers across the country. In a tweet, SBI said, 'SMS charges on mobile fund transfer now waived! Users can now easily transact without any extra charges.' SBI has started a WhatsApp banking service for its customers. With the help of this facility, now there will be no need to log in to net banking to check your account balance. Full details of the account will be available on Whatsapp only. Savings account holders and credit card holders can take advantage of SBI's Whatsapp Banking Service.

Here's how to complete the registration:

Open the message option on the phone with a mobile number registered with the bank.  
Write WAREG in the message and enter your account number by giving space.
Now SMS this message to 7208933148 number.
Then you will receive a WhatsApp message from the 90226 90226 number.  
The arrival of this message means that you have been registered.  
To use the service, you must reply to this number Hi.  
Doing so will open the Service menu on your WhatsApp.  
Now select the information you want in the menu.  
You can also type your query by messaging.
