Patna: The Nitish Kumar-led Grand Alliance government in Bihar is going to launch the CM Jan Arogya Yojana. Deputy Chief Minister- Health Minister Tejashwi Yadav announced this. Crores of people deprived of the Central Government's Ayushman Bharat Scheme will be included in the Chief Minister's Public Health Scheme. The state government wants to provide free treatment facilities to the poor and needy. Therefore, the state government will give them health coverage from the Jan Arogya Yojana.

In the program organized on the completion of 4 years of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Tejashwi Yadav said that 3.50 crore people are currently left out of this scheme. The state government will include them in its plan. At present, about 5 crore people are associated with the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Only they are getting the facility of free treatment. But in big numbers, the poor people are deprived of it. The Deputy Chief Minister said that under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, the Health Department is determined to provide better health facilities to the people. That is why we want to provide free treatment facilities to every needy person. Our goal is that no one should be left out of this scheme. The health department is working on this target. Soon, free treatment facilities will be provided to every underprivileged through a new scheme.

Tejashwi said that we have given instructions to the department to improve the condition of the hospitals, provide medicines to the people and make adequate arrangements for cleanliness. For all these plans, we have given a target of 60 days to our team. Not only this, it has been clearly told to the officers that there should be regular monitoring of all these. Let a person comes to our hospital for treatment but becomes more ill. Not everyone in the department is wicked, but some people are. Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department, Pratyaya Amrit said that we have to aim to reach the beneficiaries of the scheme in the shortest possible time. The speed of card making will also have to be increased. Work has been affected due to Corona, but now everything is back on track.
