Vetrean actor Rishi Kapoor went to New York to undergo treatment for his undisclosed illness. He  requested everyone to not speculate about the same. However, reports suggested that he  was suffering from cancer. In fact, the senior actor's elder brother, Randhir Kapoor, had to come out in open to dismiss all such rumours regarding his illness.Now,  filmmaker Rahul Rawail shared a good news for the fans.

In a Facebook post, Rahul Rawali  revealed that Rishi Kapoor is cancer free and we are so relieved to hear this. "RISHI KAPOOR (CHINTU) is CANCER FREE," he wrote. While a lot of people are happy to hear this, a few, on the other hand, still wonder if the actor was actually suffering from the ugly C. Earlier,  Ranbir had assured everyone that his father was recovering well and will be back in India soon.

On the work front, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's Mulk. The courtroom drama featured Taapsee Pannu, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Kapoor and Prateik Babbar in key roles and released on August 3, 2018.
