Google today remembered Indian cell biologist Dr Kamal Ranadive on his 104th birth anniversary by making a Doodle. Not only that, Dr. Kamal Ranadive was a Cancer Research Scientist of India and has also contributed significantly to the creation of a just Indian society through science and education. Today's Google Doodle of this famous woman scientist has been created by guest artist Ibrahim Ryintakath.

Ibrahim Rayintakath, who made Google Doodle, has said that Dr. Kamal is my main source of inspiration. The 20th century lab was a micro-world of aesthetics and leprosy and cancer-related cells, and he had done many great researches. Doodle can be seen dr kamal ranadive looking at a microscope.

Born in 1917, Dr. Kamal Ranadive: Kamal Ranadive's full name was Kamal Samarth, but he is also known as Dr. Kamal Ranadive, who was born on this day i.e. 8th November 1917 in Pune. Dr Kamal's father inspired him for medical education. Kamal's father Dinkar was a biology professor at Ferguson College in Pune.

Dr. Kamal Ranadive's father was thesubject of providing good education to all the children in the house, especially the daughters. Kamal also lived up to his father's expectations and passed every exam with good marks. Kamal always learnt something new and surprised everyone by doing well in it. Dr. Kamal Ranadive was also the chief founding member of the Bharatiya Mahila Vigyan Sangh (IWSA). Dr. Kamal Jai Singh Ranadive was also awarded the Padma Bhushan.

Dr. Kamal Ranadive established the first Tissue Culture Lab: While working as a researcher at ICRC, Dr. Kamal Ranadive had earned a doctorate in cell science, cell studies. She returned to Mumbai after a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and then the first Tissue Culture Lab in the country was founded by Dr. Kamal Ranadive in 1949. Dr. Kamal Ranadive made several discoveries on cancer. She was the first person to propose a relationship between breast cancer and heredity. This was confirmed by many researchers in later years as well.
