Google has said it will now focus its full attention on laptops. because the company expects the product to get better sales.

This was confirmed by Rick Osterloh, vice president of Google's Devices and Services. He said in a statement that Google's hardware team will now focus on making laptops. The team of Android and Chrome OS will continue to work perfectly for the tablet already in the market. He has also made it clear that the company will fully support the already-marketed Pixel tablets. Google's Pixel Slate tablet will continue to receive software and security support until June 2024. The company has also added the tablet team to the laptop team with new responsibility.

According to a recently leaked report, Google's PixelBook laptop is scheduled to be launched in the market by the end of this year. Google first launched a tablet called Pixel C in 2014, which was well appreciated and people described it as better than Apple's iPad, but over time the Pixel tablet didn't impress people. Apple and Samsung have a stronghold in the tablet market.
