USA: To make up for its slow start in the generative AI race, Google is launching an all-out assault. The Financial Times reported that the company intends to integrate AI into its advertising business in the upcoming months. The news is released against a backdrop of rumours that Google is developing a new search engine with artificial intelligence (AI).

According to Financial Times, Google presented to its advertising clients how generative AI will be integrated into its ad business.

They will deal directly with the advertising campaigns' creative content. The Performance Max programme is also anticipated to include the new tools.
This programme is used by the business to give an overview of advertising campaigns.

Factual errors may be introduced into advertising campaigns by AI systems.
The Financial Times was informed by a person familiar with the presentation that Google would be implementing guardrails to address this problem.
Guardrails to preserve the honesty of the advertising campaigns are a good idea, but they are insufficient.
