Recently, instant translation with the camera has been updated in the Google Translation app, allowing you to instantly translate captured text from one language to another.

The app can be translated into over 100 from 88 languages after updating. The appendix consists of Arabic, Hindi, Malay, Thai and Vietnamese. A complete list of 88 languages that support instant translation with camera can be seen here.

If you could translate between English and other languages in the past, users can now translate into any of the more than 100 languages supported by Google Translate. This means that it is now possible to translate from Spanish to Ukrainian or Japanese to Chinese and so on.

Abroad, the user cannot always navigate to the language in which the recording is created. It has an automatic language definition. In the new version of the program, simply select "Define language" for the language you want to translate, and the translator app will automatically identify and translate the language.

For the first time, the technique of neural machine translation (NMT) was built into the camera's instantaneous translation function. This, in theory, allows to achieve more accurate and natural translations by reducing errors of 55-85% in some linguistic pairs. Most languages can be downloaded to the device and use the feature without connecting to the Internet. However, when the device is connected to the network, the function uses connections for better translations.
