Gorakhpur: Outpost in-charge and constable have been suspended in the case of gang-rape of a minor girl in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. With this, the main accused has been arrested on the basis of the victim's statement. Also, action has been ordered on three people who made the video viral showing the face of the victim.

A minor girl resident of Gorakhnath police station area used to work in the orchestra. The girl was returning from the pastor market area at 10:30 pm to her house. She also had two friends with her, who left the dialects near the colony. Then this girl was coming to her house on foot. Then the bike rider reached there and gang-raped her. The girl had shared a video on social media stating Aapbati. After this video went viral, DIG Joginder Kumar sent Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police Crime and Women Inspector to inspect the spot. Also, the statement of the victim girl was recorded.

On the basis of the victim's statement, the main accused was arrested in Shahpur police station, registering a case under Section 342, 376D and Posco Act. Police said that a statement of 164 will be lodged soon after undergoing medical examination of the victim girl. Also, the outpost in-charge Harahawa Gate and the soldier Dharmendra were suspended.
