Nagpur:  People in the MIDC police station area of Nagpur in Maharashtra came under fire when the bodies of three members of the family were recovered from a house. The incident took place at Rajiv Nagar in Nagpur. Here, a man killed his wife and daughter last night and hanged himself. On getting information, the police reached the spot and took stock of the matter. Police are investigating the cause of the incident. 

According to information, Vilas Champatrao Gawte, a resident of Rajiv Nagar in Nagpur, killed his wife Ranjana Gawte with a sharp weapon late last night, after which his younger daughter Amrita Gavte also slit her throat. After this, Vilas himself hanged himself in the house and committed suicide. Vilas committed the crime at night. When Vilas's younger son got up to go to the bathroom, he saw the scenery of the house, then he was in a panic. He reported the matter to his uncle who lives in the neighbourhood.

Vilas also had a son in the house, but Vilas did nothing to him. Vilas had a total of three children. The eldest of them was already married. Now only Vilas's son is left in the house. Reacting to the incident, Nagpur MIDC police station police inspector Umesh Basarkar said that the case was of domestic discord, due to which Vilas had taken this step. According to the police, Vilas used to argue with his wife in the house the next day and also threatened to kill everyone in the house. However, the police are ascertaining why the incident was carried out, what was the motive behind it. The case is under further investigation.
