Settle your banking related work today, banks will remain closed for five days from tomorrow

New Delhi: If any of your bank is left to work this week, dispose them off as soon as possible. Actually, government banks are going to remain closed for five days. Bank unions have announced to go on strike with their demands. Let us tell you that on 1 February, bank employees went on strike on different demands this month.

The Union Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) and All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) of state-run banks have announced a strike on March 11, 12 and 13, over their demands. Along with this, there will be a holiday in banks due to the second Saturday. Sunday is a weekly holiday for banks. Because of this, ordinary customers will have to be deprived of banking related tasks for five consecutive days.

A union official has told that the bank employees are going on strike demanding their salary. Actually, the salary of bank employees and officers is revised every five years. According to these rules, the government had revised the salary in 2012, but since then no step has been taken in this direction. Bank unions had also demanded two weekly holidays from the government. But even this demand has not been met. That is why the bank employees have once again announced a strike.
