An indigenous e-commerce platform is being developed by the government. It is being developed by the Government's Department for the Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. The intention of this initiative of the government is to create an e-commerce business platform, which will get help from the government. Senior DPIIT officer has been elected as the chairman of the committee on government e-commerce platforms. Along with this, representatives of the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Electronics, IT Ministry, Ministry of MSME and NITI Aayog will be included in the committee of government e-commerce platform. Apart from this, Adil Jainulbhai, Chairman of Quality Council of India, Dilip Asbe, CEO of NPCI Technology, Suresh Seth, CEO of NSDL Technology will also be part of this committee.
