The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today has stated on the bull taming sport Jallikattu. S Prakash, BJP leader as per the sources news said “The Tamil Nadu Government has issued an ordinance permitting Jallikattu in the state. The state government has to bend before the will of the people. Ultimately, it is people power that matters in democracy,”.

He aslo mentioned about Kambada and said “Kambada also needs to be allowed by the government. I hope the judiciary understand the sentiments of the people and act accordingly,”

Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Tamil Nadu yesterday has approved the ordinance issued by the state government to cancel the ban on Jallikattu. The Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today will inaugurate the traditional bull-taming sport  at Alanganallur in Madurai .
