Lucknow: Congress' Uttar Pradesh-in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has targeted the Yogi government for fixing a contract system for five years in Group 'B' and Group 'C' jobs in Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday, she tweeted "They have termed it as a youth disrespect law". She raised the question and said that the Supreme Court has already made its sharp statements on such a law. What is the goal of bringing this system? The government is bringing a strategy to increase pain by not healing the youth's injury.

The UP government is thinking of making major changes in the recruitment process of Group 'B' and Group 'C'. In the proposed arrangement, the personnel will be appointed on contract basis for the initial five years after the selection. In the meantime, they will not get the permissible service benefits received by regular government servants.

Those who will be able to avoid retrenchment during the five-year complex contract service will get a fundamental appointment. The Personnel Department of governance is preparing to bring the proposal before the cabinet for consideration. Consultations on the proposal have been initiated. In the same way, the government appoints one or two years of probation as per the service rules of the concerned cadre after the selection of persons on the vacant posts from the different recruitment process. In the meantime, the personnel are given the salary and other profits.
