The central government has taken a major decision in the field of health. The government has fixed the cost of kneeling through operation, by reducing the cost. The cost of knee transplantation has been fixed between Rs 54 thousand and Rs 1.14 lakh, in which the current cost of surgery has been reduced by up to 70 percent. That is to say that the knee replacement through surgery has become very cheap.
Chemical and Fertilizer Minister Ananth Kumar said that the knee transplantation through operation will now be done at affordable prices. Prices have been fixed for this. They said that the prices which the government has fixed, they have come into effect only since Wednesday.
54720 knee replacement:
According to the government's decision, the normal knee transplant will now cost Rs 54720. Announcing this decision, Ananth Kumar also said that the government's move will save Rs 1500 crore of the patients. They said that according to the data given by the government, one to one and a half lakh people change knee through operation every year.
Cobalt chromatium Knee Implant:
The Union Minister said that in all hospitals there are five different brands of Knee Implant. All hospitals standard Cobalt chromium Knee Implant do, for which up to two million rupees are charged. But now the expenditure has reduced to 60 thousand rupees.
