In fact, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has also sealed a restaurant near the Breech Candy Hospital in Mumbai on charges of violating the Covid guidelines. A fine of Rs. 19, 400 has been imposed on 245 people present here for not wearing masks. BMC says when the team arrived for the investigation, neither the people wore masks nor the rules of social dissing were being followed. However, an FIR has also been lodged in the entire case. There are reports that after receiving several complaints, the BMC has started tightening the pubs, bars and restaurants in South Mumbai.
Talking about the Palghar, all government schools, colleges, hostels and private school institutions in the district have been closed till further orders after the order of collector Manik Gursal.
