Bhopal: The state government will no longer be able to purchase mobile for real-time monitoring of the weight and stature of children up to 6 years in the Anganwadis of the state. It is being reported that the money is going to be paid to buy mobile directly in the account of 76283 Anganwadi workers in the state. 10,000 rupees will be put in the account of each Anganwadi worker. About Rs. 76 crores are going to be given. In this way, they would be able to buy a mobile of their choice.
The tender has been cancelled for the 9th time last Thursday. The Central government has given a budget of crores in the Poshan Abhiyan to provide mobile to Anganwadi workers, but the Anganwadi worker has not got mobile for two years in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Poshan Abhiyan in the year 2018. The Central government had decided to provide mobile phones to Anganwadi workers to monitor the nutrition and health of children up to 6 years in all the states.
In this order, the weight and height of each child in all Anganwadi centres was to upload the centre's common application software (CAS) every month in the mobile phone. The real-time monitoring has started with uploading of data in all the states. During the review, the Central government said that the department will put it in the category of unsuccessful states if mobile monitoring is not started by January. '
