There is a good news for all Indian residents as our Government will spent around 67,000 crore on military hardware. The defense ministry will purchase 83 Tejas Light Combat Aircraft, 15 Light Combat helicopters and 464 T-90 tanks.
The 40 Aircraft were already ordered that will be delivered to Indian Air Force and now the added aircraft will cost Rs 50,025 crore to Government. The helicopters will cost Rs. 2,911 crore. There will be 120 Tejas Fighters in total and they will be delievered according to HAL's production capacity.
One of the officer said "That, better radar, and the ability to fire missiles beyond the visual range will be incorporated in the second batch of 20 fighters,"
The defense ministry and HAL want to increase the capacity of Tejas fighters as well.
