Ranchi: The contract employees have been given a big gift from the Jharkhand government. The Hemant Soren Government has increased the dearness allowance to the contract employees to 19.6 per cent, which was 11.3 per cent earlier. Apart from this, the government also came up with a big gift for PDS shopkeepers. The government has also decided to give a commission of one rupee per garment to PDS shopkeepers under the Sona Sobran Dhoti-Saree-Lungi Scheme. In fact, 63 proposals were sealed in the Jharkhand Cabinet meeting. It also approved the proposal to construct a flyover from Siramtoli to Mecon Chowk in Ranchi at a cost of Rs 337 crore.  

The state government has sanctioned 337 crores 50 lakh for the flyover. This budget will lead to the construction of a four-lane flyover. The length of the flyover is estimated at 2.34 km. In addition, the teacher's honorarium has been increased by 20 per cent in 203 Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas in the state. 17 Farmers' Schools will also be opened in the state. 61 crore has been sanctioned for the implementation of the scheme.  

As per the cabinet decisions, the state government will take a loan of Rs 136 crore from NABARD for the forest development project. At the same time, a loan of Rs 50 crore will be taken for 14 Gramin and bridgel. The meeting also approved the proposal to amend the CM Medha Scholarship Scheme.
