New Delhi: This time Holi of central employees will be celebrated in the best way. The government may announce a special festival advance scheme. Under the Advance Scheme, the central government can make a provision of Rs 10,000 to the central employees. That is, the employees of the center can take an advance of Rs 10,000 on the festival of Holi and no interest is to be paid on it. Its last date can be 31 March 2022. Last year also, the government had announced this for the central employees.

This advance being given for the same festival will be pre loaded. This money will already be recorded in the ATMs of central employees, they will only have to spend. This advance of Rs 10,000 being given to central employees is completely interest free. No interest will have to be paid for its repayment. Simultaneously, the refund of this money will also be done in 10 installments. It can be paid in monthly installments of only Rs 1,000.

Under the same Festival Advance Scheme, an allocation of about Rs 4000-5000 crore can be announced. At the same time, if the state governments also implement this scheme, then about Rs 8,000-10,000 crore will be spent. If sources are to be believed, the government will also take up the bank charges of the advance scheme. Employees will also be able to spend this advance digitally only. Earlier, the government had also extended the Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) of central employees for two years. With this, central employees will be able to use Leave Travel Allowance (LTA) for travel to the Northeast, Ladakh, Andaman-Nicobar and Jammu and Kashmir till March 2022.
