The national flag has been hoisted by Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik at The Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar on the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day. On the other hand, colorful functions are being organized at the stadium to mark the Independence Day and the celebrations are being attended by the Governor as well as a number of dignitaries. An outside number of locals were also present.

Governor Satyapal Malik said, "I assure the people of Jammu and Kashmir that their identity is not in danger and there has been no tampering. At the same time, he said, the Constitution of India allows various regional identities to flourish. Today, the Leh celebrations have made people more difficult and a large number of people are attending the function.

After the removal of Article 370, the events on the occasion of Independence Day in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have attracted the entire country by the people's presentness. The atmosphere at the Sher-e-Kashmir stadium in Srinagar was such that anyone's mind was fascinated by the event. Cultural events here have made such an impression that people are not getting tired of praising.
