Hyderabad: Dr Tamilisai thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership in guiding the country in a massive vaccination campaign. It is a historic day and we have achieved a great milestone in our immunization campaign by delivering a record one billion vaccine doses in our fight against the COVID pandemic. Governor Dr Tamilisai Sundararajan on Thursday lauded the efforts of scientists, doctors, health workers and frontline warriors, which enabled the country to achieve the milestone of delivering 100 crore vaccine doses.
Governor visited ESIC Medical College and interacted with doctors, students and staff. He said the country has rejected cynicism about its ability to vaccinate a large population and emerged victorious by delivering 100 crore vaccine doses in less than a year. “We are proud to have indigenously produced vaccines and have also supplied our vaccines to many other countries.
