Today is the birthday of Govind Namdev, who created fear in the hearts of people with his acting in Bollywood. Govind Namdev is celebrating his 68th birthday today. Govind Namdev has worked in many hit films in his career which you all must have seen. Govind Namdev was born in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Govind had a problem after class 11, so he started looking for a job which is part-time. At the same time, he saw an advertisement in the newspaper in which it was written that the Delhi state government is giving two scholarships of Rs 250 to the National School of Drama.

In such a situation, he thought of going to Delhi and filled the form and gave it. After that, he has been selected for NSD and along with taking a diploma in NSD, he also took a bachelor's degree from Delhi University. After that, in the year 1978, he joined the Repertory Company and remained in the Repatri Company till 1989. He then moved to Mumbai. Here he did plays, did theatre and then got a chance to work in films.

Govind's first film was Ketan Mehta's Sardar Patel and it took about three and a half years to make that film. However, during the same time, he got Shola and Shabnam and it got ready quickly and released. Because of this, Govind's first release film was Shola and Shabnam. After that, he worked in Bandit Queen and on seeing it, he became a super hit. The last time you all saw Govind in the film was Oh My God.
