Eligibility Criteria for Govt. of Assam Assistant Teacher:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the following from a recognised university:
-10+2 with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
-10+2 with 50% and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
-10+2 with 50% and 2-Year Diploma in Special Education
AND
-TET Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2018): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Teacher Eligibility Test.
Application Fee: General/UR/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200 and SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 150 through Indian Postal Order in the name of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19.
