New Delhi: In an effort to bolster cybersecurity measures and thwart cyberattacks, the Indian government has introduced the 'Cyber Swachhta Kendra' (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre). This initiative, spearheaded by the Union Ministry of Electronics & IT, forms an integral part of the Government of India's Digital India campaign. Its primary objectives are to identify botnet infections within India, alert users to these threats, facilitate malware removal, and secure end-users' systems to prevent future infections.

Operated by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), this center collaborates closely with Internet service providers and industry stakeholders. Its mission revolves around raising public awareness about botnets and malware infections, along with educating citizens on how to safeguard their devices.

How to Remove Malware?
The rapid expansion of digitalization, broadband access, and mobile internet, while offering numerous advantages to users, also brings with it the challenge of an escalating number of cybercrimes.
